چکیده

Objective: Multiple Sclerosis is an inflammatory demyelinating disease characterized by lymphocyte infiltration and demyelination of brain tissue central nervous system.
Materials Methods: This study aimed to evaluate the interleukin (IL-17A, IL-17F, IL-34 cytokine) levels in cerebrospinal fluid Relapsing-Remitting (n=23), radiologically isolated syndrome (n=5) pseudotumor cerebri (n=15) cases. In this study, lumbar puncture obtained from patients who were diagnosed with aged between 21-55. The PTC group included 28-60 years. IL-17A, cytokines determined ELISA kit.
 Results: Among studied samples patients, median (min-max) values IL-17A for Demyelinated 50 (7-257) pg/ml 2 (1-6) respectively, a statistically significant difference (p<0.01) has been observed two groups. Median IL-17F 32 (6-891) (1-3) 16 (4-197) (1-11) groups (Lower limit cytokine have as IL-17A: 3,93 pg/ml, IL-17F: 2,23 IL-34: 3,12 pg/ml). IL-34, was found be high sclerosis patients. important cerebral endothelial reaction sclerosis.
Conclusion: suggest that it may new treatment strategy adjunct diagnosis neuroinflammatory neurodegenerative diseases such multiple disease. More extensive studies are needed determine whether can marker return clinical MS.

Increased IL-17A but Decreased IL-27 Serum Levels in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis

Background: Effector CD4+ T cell subsets play an important role in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Interleukin-27 (IL-27) suppresses Th (Th1, Th2 and Th17) cells and dampens autoimmunity and tissue inflammation by promoting the generation of Type 1 regulatory T cells (Tr1). Objective: To identify the relative levels of IL-27 and IL-17A in MS disease. Method: In a case-control study, venous blood was c...

Investigating the Association of IL-17A and IL-17F with Susceptibility to Pre-eclampsia in Iranian Women

Background: Pre-eclampsia (PE) is one of the most important and life-threatening pregnancy disorders that affect at least 3-5% of all pregnancies. Imbalance in helper T cell functions may play a role in predisposing to PE or severity of the disease. Elevated frequencies of Th17 cells in the peripheral blood of PE patients have been reported. Several single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) within ...

Regulatory effects of C5a on IL-17A, IL-17F, and IL-23

The complement anaphylatoxin, C5a, through binding to its receptors (C5aR or C5L2), has important biological properties for recruitment and activation of phagocytes. C5a has been identified as a powerful modulator of Toll-like receptor-induced cytokine and chemokine production by macrophages. Both the complement system and the interleukin (IL)-17 cytokine family protect against extracellular pa...

Correlation between acute myeloid leukemia and IL-17A, IL-17F, and IL-23R gene polymorphism.

Recent studies have shown that Th17 cells may be involved in the pathological process of acute myeloid leukemia. This CD4+ cell subgroup secretes highly homologous interleukin (IL)-17A and IL-17F, and also expresses IL-23 receptor (IL-23R) on the cell surface. Our study aims to investigate the relationship of IL-17A, IL-17F, and IL23R with disease susceptibility, and clarify the relationship be...
